About Badal Nirwan

For me, life is a journey of discovery. I worked my way from being a small-town guy to building my professional career in banking in two of India's biggest cities. The journey from farming to being part of boardroom meetings has been exciting and has given me the experience of scarcity and abundance. I believe life should never stop evolving. In my life, I saw love, hatred, and indifference at an almost equal intensity. People walking on this earth are filled with a mix of emotions that generate good and evil in the world. I wrote poetry to capture these emotions in words. Inspired and affected by the Human desire for "More" I decided to write a book on war and its effect on human life. So I wrote it. A few years back I decided to reclaim my healthy lifestyle. I watched my food and kept a check on the thoughts my mind consumed. One fine day I started running. This led me to the finish line of one of the prestigious Marathons of our country (TMM). Life is a continuous pursuit of your better self. Every day and day by day. The only obligation, I believe, we have is to be a better person than what we were yesterday.
