About Bahja Ibrahim

As an experienced and certified project management professional, I have a proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating multiple projects from initiation to completion. Currently, I am serving as the Program Lead for the Cybersecurity Accelerator at the Toronto Metropolitan University, where I am responsible for developing and delivering the university’s Catalyst Cyber Accelerator program. Through effective project planning, curriculum development, and stakeholder management, I have onboarded and oriented incoming founders and teams into the program, managed operational processes, and collaborated with national and international stakeholders to promote program activities. Previously, I worked as a Project Coordinator for the Digital Learning Team at the Humber River Hospital, where I managed the implementation and training needs of hospital-wide EMR systems. In this role, I coordinated project meetings, developed learning activities, and maintained databases with metrics and targets for senior leadership. I have also served as a Supervisor for Training Programs at Indus Community Services, where I led the creation of several new unique training programs and liaised with relevant stakeholders to report project status. In addition to my extensive project management experience, I hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and a Project Management Certificate from the University of Toronto. I also have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health from Ryerson University. My ability to coordinate and manage projects, oversee teams, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain project budgets has led to successful project outcomes and strong relationships with team members and stakeholders. I am dedicated to continuous improvement and seek opportunities to further develop my skills in project management.
