As a Candidate Experience Specialist at Activision Blizzard, I have been thriving in the dynamic video game industry, ensuring that each candidate’s journey is seamless and positive. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the recruitment process, making sure every detail is aligned to our highest standards. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Marketing from California State University, Bakersfield, and my experience in my career thus far, I’m looking to finally set foot into a marketing-focused role and learn alongside a wonderful team to develop and sharpen my skills. My previous experience in the general aviation industry, where I transitioned from Customer Service Representative to Flight Scheduler, gave me the opportunity to step into social media marketing and analytics for a small business, sparking my initial interest in digital marketing. With my initial interest in digital marketing and via my wonderful connections and colleagues at Activision Blizzard, I was able to shadow and learn from many generous marketing professionals within the company. Now, I am eager to leverage the mentorship and insights I’ve gained at Activision Blizzard to step into a dedicated marketing role, with a focus on social media and paid social marketing. I’ve had the privilege of shadowing greatly talented marketing teams in their efforts to brand and promote games, and I’m ready to take the next step in my career—applying my own skills and enthusiasm to contribute to the success of a marketing team.
