About Bailey Carter

I am currently in my final year of studies at the University of Queensland where I am doing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. I began studying my degree in 2019 as a part time student while working as a courier/truck driver. I have maintained this job throughout the course of my degree and have recently began taking on full time studies with the motivation of joining the engineering workforce in the near future. I am currently looking for an Engineering based internship for 2024 or beyond. I am pursuing a career in the automotive/racing industry where I can utilise my mechanical knowledge however I am open minded to gaining experience and knowledge from many engineering disciplines. In my spare time from work and studies I also have an automotive media company called CarCarClub which involves photography, videography, events, fundraising as well as information and documentation on many automotive topics. I also enjoy sports, I used to be a national swimmer while studying and working up until 2021. I have now transferred my competitive and athletic nature into the gym to stay healthy. Growing up I raced go karts, I still enjoy racing when I have the time and I have always been a fan of v8 Supercars, formula 1 and all things motor racing.
