About Bailey Debus

I am a highly passionate and dedicated licensed social worker, with an MSW from SIU Carbondale with a focus on youth. I have three years of experience working directly with youth in the school system to aid in coping skills, behavior modification, addiction, and mental illness. In my experience I have relied on interpersonal relationships with my students, their families, and the staff to create an evidenced based, goal oriented plan that is centered around the student. It is my belief a youth can succeed when provided a powerful support system and when taught how to become their own best resource. My coworkers know me as someone who is highly motivated and invested in each client I work with, and that I am consistent in my goal planning and follow through, as well as record keeping. I am moving to the Cape Girardeau, MO area and am seeking a position in the social services field, with a focus on youth.
