About Bailey Gomez

For over 8 years, I've worked to help end homelessness in Houston in both micro and macro level work. Starting off as a case manager, I have helped homeless clients in Houston navigate into housing, and remain stably housed. I later on transitioned to a leadership role. As a lead case manager I have assisted in training all staff in homeless programs such as Permanent Supportive Housing, Rapid Rehousing, and Homeless Youth Services. I've also had the joy of assisting in the creation and implementation of new policies and programs such as our Barrier Buster program. Working at this level has allowed me to gain skills in coaching, project implementation, data reporting, and collaboration. I have a deep passion for not only ending homeless, but doing any work to help making my community a better place for those in it.
