About Bailey Prasad

I remember hiking my first footers in NH, bagging three peaks in one day–it was my first hike in years and the most arduous by far. At moments, I was overcome by intense fatigue and questioned my ability to succeed and summit the mountain. Looking upward, I was greeted by rock after rock as far as my eyes could reach, or so it seemed. Step after step, I challenged not only my fitness, but also, my willpower. Testing myself physically and mentally, I pushed higher and harder until I achieved my goal. After eleven grueling miles, I returned to the car overcome with gratitude and passion, but most of all, pride in myself. Despite the exhaustion, I was hooked and ready to scale the next mountain. I always say that food tastes best at the cairn of the peak, but the truth is that everything in life is sweeter when I work with diligence and tenacity. The struggle is where growth happens; my limits are as high as I push them.
