Background
About Balbir Dhesi
As Head of HR I specialise in offering bespoke HR services to a range of clients, from OMBs and SMEs. My experience spans industries as diverse as Retail, Banking and Professional Services. I can operate as an HR leader within an organisation, leading the day-to-day delivery of human resources services in-house or I can operate as an external HR consultant, designing bespoke solutions to deliver to complex client requirements and delivering technical expertise. Some of my significant projects include the implementation of a standalone HR function for Wilder Coe, leading to cost savings for the company and greater transparency for employees; delivering on a large transformation project at Tesco that converted over 50% of contractors to employees; and supporting a policy change project at NatWest that resulted in a strong uptake of the new flexible benefits package.I thrive on building strong collaborative relationships at all levels of an organisation, supporting a business to shape their workforce and facilitate the growth of both the business and its people.
