My name is Ogunlesi Kehinde Barakat, a recently qualified Chartered Accountant and a results-driven professional transitioning into the renewable energy sector. With nearly two years, I have worked in a reputable firm as an Audit and Tax resource person where I have had the chance to work with a variety of clients from different industries. I have gained experience in financial reporting, internal controls and tax compliance which I am excited to bring to the renewable energy industry. My experience in auditing has taught me the importance of diligence and transparency, which I believe will help in ensuring the financial sustainability of renewable energy projects. Furthermore, my understanding of taxation has proven invaluable in developing a keen eye in identifying tax savings and strategies to minimize liabilities while maximizing returns. I hold a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and currently pursuing a Bsc conversion programme in Accounting at Ajayi Crowther University.
