About Barb Dirmontaite

I am a creative, detail-oriented team player, meticulous organizer, lifelong learner, passionate communicator, and teacher. I always love a good puzzle, and have unique experiences ranging a broad spectrum. Communication in the workplace is one of my highest priorities. I am a people person, and as we all know, people can be ambiguous and complex and sometimes prone to assumptions and misunderstandings. This is why I believe effective communication grants us the ability to mitigate these issues and help ensure everyone is on the same page. This also allows for extra time to work on all other operational tasks that can get pushed to the side when confronted with the consequences of ineffective communication. Aside from good communication truly being the foundation of any successful endeavor, it is also important to stay kind and understanding. We never know what another person may or may not be going through. By bringing understanding and patience to the forefront, we ensure that we can explore all sides of any situation in order to proactively tackle challenges and identify improved solutions. I truly am most passionate about creative problem solving and maintaining positive and effective work relationships. My experiences include leadership, team management, curriculum planning, teaching, operations, customer service, conference planning, fundraising, program development and implementation, mentoring, and other creative endeavors.
