About Barb Felt
I began my career in EMS at Perham Area EMS in 2001. I am an EMT and the Training Coordinator for our company. I truly enjoy teaching and learning new things. I look for new up and coming ways to keep our students, staff and myself interested and excited about EMS. I have recently began Public Speaking engagements. My main topics are "Returning to Work After a Traumatic Event" and "First Hand CO poisoning as an EMS professional" Situational Awareness as well as many more. Both of these subjects are very personal for me and I feel I do a fantastic job providing information to others to keep themselves safe mentally and physically. I do topics for educators as well."Why a Student Handbook is Important" and "Dealing with Roz - the Problematic Student". and many others. I am on the MN Educators Committee, MN TZD, Otter Tail County Safe Community Coalition, LUCAS CPR Instructor, NARCAN Instructor, MN DOT Instructor, BLS Instructor, Test writer for the NREMT in 2015, Presenter for EMS Conferences.
