My experience started in sales {the beginning of my love for the customer} & has come full circle to touching every aspect of customer engagement. It is full of color in creative, team building & messaging, but is balanced in the black & white of analysis, value engineering, & data collection. My years of delivering messaging thru selling, merchandising, & marketing have taught me many key skills to success: o The most important lesson is that nothing matters unless the customer says YES. o To love what you do, and do it consistently. o Creative = Emotion. Understand the target message & communicate to the emotion, value, or urgency of the message. All products & services have a message to tell. Find it! o A great idea is only an idea if it cannot be executed by your teams. o Evaluate all aspects of the projects' end result. Be prepared to look in the magic customer mirror. What did they tell you? o Ask yourself every project: if given the opportunity to do it again, what would we do differently? I have a great passion for the customer. Marketing a brand or product is where my passion remains.
