Senior Counsel for 15+ years with the New Jersey Schools Development Authority managing a multi-million dollar construction/professional liability program. Expert in the analysis of construction claims and insurance coverage issues. Knowledge of real estate development and land use approvals. Also managed the areas of regulatory law, corporate governance and policy development. Specific contributions, included: Recovered in excess of $6 Million in cost recovery settlements. Developed rules and regulations governing more than ten program areas of the Authority’s operations, including design-build program, environmental/real property, affirmative action and grant programs. Published policies governing all aspects of corporate operations, including information technology, human resources, records retention and disposition, project management and budgeting matters. Successfully organized and managed departments responsible for legislative affairs, program development, vendor debarments, affirmative action and policy and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining the NJSDA I represented 600+ local school boards before the State Legislature and the United States Congress and presided over meetings of county school board associations.
