About Barbara Boyce

I am a non traditional student who found a love for accounting in my first semester returning to school. I completed my associates in Accounting as well as Business and Finance in May 2017. I transferred to the University of Wyoming that same May to continue my education. I am hoping to have my Bachelors in 2019 and will hopefully sit for the CPA shortly thereafter. In my short time back in the academic arena I have joined The Rotary Club, the Ethics Club, as well as earned my Ethical Leadership Certification. I have my own person code of ethics that I am very proud of and happy to share with anyone who is interested. During my time at Laramie County Community College, I along with 2 other group members successfully executed a week long clothing drive. During the drive I used a combination of personal networking and local businesses to help the clothing drive be successful. In the end my group was able to donate over 1700 pieces of clothing, shoes, coats, and blankets to a local church. The church said it was the single largest donation they had received to date.
