About Barbara Ciosk

After growing up in Poland and attending high schools in the U.S. and Tel Aviv, I decided to pursue my undergraduate education at New York University Abu Dhabi, with a full scholarship, as a double major in Legal Studies and Psychology with a minor in Arabic. These courses allowed me to understand how effective research and quantitative reasoning skills guide successful problem-solving. Due to my culturally diverse life experience, I am fluent in Polish and English and speak German, Modern Standard Arabic, and Levantine Arabic at an intermediate level. On top of the language skills, living and studying internationally has taught me open-mindedness, adaptation, and appreciation for discovering unfamiliar intellectual and physical environments. Upon my graduation in May 2023, I hope to pursue a career in strategic thinking/problem solving, research, and project management, preferably in a mission-driven organization. My goal is to help people and organizations work better and in healthier environments.
