About Barbara Davis

I have over 25 years of experience in web design and development. I also have over 11 years of online sales experience. HTML emails, SEO, ad design, Social Networking. I spent 4 years training sales reps at local newspapers to sell online advertising. I provide all the training and sales material and go on 4 legged calls with the reps to sell online products. I sold over of new online revenue in 4 years. I created the online presence of the PCS product for US WEST when it was launched in 1997. I developed the internet and intranet site for the business, I then moved on to manage a team of 5 developers. We created the online PCS shopping cart for consumers and created the large business application which was used for sales in Best Buy and other stores. I created my business in 2002 after being laid off from Qwest. I have over 80 small business websites which I have created custom graphics and functionality for these businesses. Some range from online shopping carts to online registration and classes for the Petroleum industry. In my present position I have redesigned the website for 5 of the Media News Group online papers. I also designed the GUI for the Content Management system that the newspaper use for their day to day updates. I worked on website development in WordPress integrating social networking and websites for 20 businesses in the Estes Park area to help with flood recovery. This was funded through Summit Church and is called the Adopt-a-Business program. I appeared on Colorado and Company in May 2014 to talk about these websites.
