The following are highlights of my qualifications and accomplishments • In-depth knowledge of administration that includes admissions, assessments, treatment, referral, and education. • Repeated commendations by patients and families for providing excellent care. • Master’s level education on health information technology, the data-information-knowledge-wisdom cycle, and project management • My Practicum project at Cooper University Healthcare gave me experience using Lean Six Sigma process improvement strategies to implement a Preadmission Testing Module within their Epic System, implementing the evidence based practice and workflows that ultimately improve the quality and cost of healthcare. • Working as the PACU nurse, I took the initiative to create process maps of my pre-op and post-op processes. I found areas of waste and with permission from my manager, I remapped the processes, eliminated the waste and created more efficient processes that improved the quality, safety, and efficiency of our care. My work reduced same day cancelations and reduced patient wait times. My clinical background, strong initiative and excellent organizational skills combined with my ability to work well under pressure will allow me to be a strong contributor to the program. My academic performance has demonstrates that I put one-hundred percent into everything I do to achieve excellence. I am a graduate of the MSN Nursing Informatics program at Thomas Edison State University.
