About Barbara Jan

Divorce Coaching for (expat) women Working as an transformational coach since 2011. My main drive is to empower women (especially expats) to develop themselves to their full potential. It’s my mission to support them finding their purpose, living it, serving the world with it and thrive. I’m trained as a life coach, with a lot of experience in career development in corporate environments. Next to that, I focus on divorce coaching. I went through a divorce myself as an expat woman in the past and I use my experience, knowledge and information to help women who are going through the same situation at this moment as I did back then. I’m also the author of “Echtscheiden, zo doe je dat!”, a hand book for women about how to divorce efficiently in 9 steps. My coaching approach is pragmatic and result oriented, both on an emotional and practical level Experienced leader with decades of experience in biotech and life science corporate. Qualified coach who keeps calm and communicates clearly in a crisis. Team members have described me as open minded, insightful and empathetic. Particular passion for empowering women to overcome challenges to ensure valuable diversity and inclusion - in biotech and beyond. Global citizen with intercultural competence, originally from Slovenia but now settled long term in the Netherlands. Fluent in Dutch, English and Slovenian. My desire to support others navigate life’s challenges led me to publish a book “Echt Scheiden, zo doe je dat”. When I couldn’t find the information I needed at the time, I developed this 9 step plan so that others dealing with divorce can do so with minimal stress. Next to my Coaching accreditation and bachelor in Clinical biochemistry i have 20+ years experince in the corporate world navigating trough chelanging projects as a manager. Next to that i am a facilitator and coach at J&J personal development department HC. I am specialised in coaching expat women on the corporate level and beyond. Available to share my motivational stories and experience as a speaker, coach or trainer.
