Graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly Tai Sophia Institute in 2008. Since then I have worked as a self-employed animal acupuncturist in Maryland. I provide house calls to treat dogs and cats in the Baltimore area. I have also worked at different outpatient clinics, hospitals, senior centers treating people. Prior to my work as an acupuncturist I was a clinical social worker. I worked mainly with children dn families in an outpatient center. Additionally I provided substance abuse services and treatment to women in a private practice office. I also worked as a clinical manager for Cigna overseeing social workers and nurses in managed care. I worked for Cigna for 7 years learning about utilization of health benefits, meeting with hospital administrators along with CEO's and CFO's. My first career was in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman for 4 years of active duty and 3 years as a reservist. I attribute my love for medicine from the work and experiences I gained while serving our country.
