About Barbara Keck

As a Technical Mathematics graduate with a focus on statistics and mathematical methods in economics (@TU Wien), I've developed a passion for renewable energies, public transport, smart services, and especially for innovation & technology management and artificial intelligence. My experience as a project manager at Wiener Linien allowed me to deepen my expertise in Service Design Thinking, Process Management, Lean Management, and Organizational Development. In January 2024, I completed a Double Degree Program in Business Engineering and Innovation & Technology Management (@HSLU Switzerland & @FHTW Austria), which further strengthened my strategic and interdisciplinary approach. For over a year now, I have been working at Bundesrechenzentrum as a Senior Technical Consultant for Artificial Intelligence, where I advise on the development and implementation of AI strategies, lead organizational change efforts, support client projects, and contribute to raising data and AI literacy across organizations. My work also includes giving talks on AI and FemTech, delivering training sessions on AI-related topics, and supporting communication around AI within and outside the organization. In my free time, I love to travel and explore new cultures, which helps me to keep learning and growing. I’m also passionate about photography. My last destinations on holioday were South Africa, Namibia, Sri Lanka and Canada. I believe that following what truly inspires you is key to both success and fulfillment.
