BARBARA NAA AYELEY OKU is an ardent finance and accounting professional with extensive experience in Banking Sector Stress Testing, Macroprudential Analysis, Central Banking, Management Consulting, Budget Reviews, Independent Business Reviews, Forensic Audit/Investigations, Finance Effectiveness Reviews, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Financial Due Diligence, Internal Audit, Governance Reviews, and Business Process Reviews. She has extensive experience in working with both public and private sector clients in Sub-Saharan Africa and has been actively involved in the implementation of government initiatives such as the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) Program. Her experience with private sector clients also includes business process reviews of the financial and operational functions of ailing companies in Ghana, financial due diligence of target companies in Ghana, control reviews, internal audits, and forensic investigations. As a Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Ghana) Limited, Barbara took lead responsibility in preparing proposals, designing, implementing and training target audience on financial management procedures and processes, ensuring the implementation of effective internal controls (COSO), investigating potential fraud occurrences, performing financial due diligence on target companies and restructuring the financial and operational functions of ailing companies. She is currently a Credit Reporting Specialist with the Central Bank of Ghana. She is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Credit Reporting Act and recommending policies and directives aimed at protecting credit information subjects and the integrity of the credit reporting system.
