About Barbara Pristavec
Creativity has always been my guiding principle. From fine arts studies to strategic marketing communications education, I gained my first experiences at the architecture firm Sonet and the design studio, Imprimo. I trained my communication skills at the company for energetics, Petrol, where I got involved with marketing. In 2015 my path led me to GS1. Initially, I joined the GS1 Slovenia Member Support team, where I applied my pedagogy and creative skills, which I used in the fields of education and event organization. Results followed and management acknowledged my ideas. A new department within GS1 Slovenija was created, cowering marketing and event organization, that I now manage. My desire for innovative approaches and professional development in the fields of digital, technical, and creative skills help me with all new challenges that I encounter. Privately I enjoy playing piano and tambourine, and a good battle on the floorball field. But before all that, I'm a proud mum of Sara and Luka, who always keep me on my toes.
