About Barbara Schmid

I am a highly motivated, energetic, high achieving, organized project manager. I have 15 years of experience planning, organizing and implementing various events, projects and educational offerings, 4 years’ experience coordinating qualitative research studies and hold a national certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) through SOCRA. As a research coordinator, I organize, schedule and write curriculum for evidence-based practice and research courses; have taught over 300 healthcare providers; coordinated four qualitative research studies, mentor staff members through educational projects; assist the department Director with budget setting, balancing; create and maintain reporting database that houses all department education, consultation and project activities; create all monthly, quarterly and annual Board reports. As a training center coordinator, I led the center to obtain American Heart Association Gold Star standard; wrote and implemented department policy; supervised budget and payroll; conducted annual reviews; conducted quality assurance audits; trained and supervised over 50 instructors; organized and produced over 691 courses with over 4,600 participants.
