About Barbara Sherrod

Barbara 'Bobbi' is an experienced and innovative facilitator, program designer, and implementation specialist in the education and nonprofit sector. She is a published Restorative Justice Practitioner with seven years of experience in school and organizational development. She uses implementation science, adult learning theory, and alternative dispute resolution programs for organization transformation focused on racial equity and just processes. Their expertise includes creating and facilitating professional developments; leadership coaching for all experienced levels; implementing social and emotional tools in PK-12 setting; assessing and evaluating organization culture, resources, and procedures with race, equity, and justice lens. She works with NGOs and foundations to incorporate racial equity practices like proactive and responsive restorative circles, consult on racial equity and restorative and juvenile justice policy, and provide 1:1 coaching based on restorative justice theory for educators, leaders, and parents. Bobbi works to support processes that foster connection and move toward a community free of prisons, policing, and punitive conflict responses. Community well-being is at the center of her personal life and leadership philosophy.
