About Barbara T.

I am an organized, multi-talented, self-motivated individual with several years experience in the Information Technology field. I possess strong communication and analytical skills which makes me effective working independently or as a part of a team to meet deadlines on time. Experience in Business Process Improvement, project management, training and documentation has proven me to be a strong problem solver. In addition my attention to detail helps ensure my ability to focus and follow up on work performed. I'm a proven leader who can work well under pressure without sacrificing quality. I was born and raised in the great city of San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School, I attended the Our Lady of the Lake University, then did a stint at the University of Texas at San Antonio and eventually returned to OLLU where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with minors in Communication Arts and Russian. Currently I work for Bexar County Information Technology as a Test Analyst II in the Quality Management Service Line. Prior to joining BCIT, I worked for a small Salesforce shop and prior to that for a much larger Fortune 200 company. My experience includes developing and executing test strategies for legacy mainframe systems, web-based applications and enterprise workflow infrastructure. My favorite word is monkey. I enjoy making things and baking things. I'm a big fan of Steven Spielberg movies, double exclamation points and all kinds of rock-n-roll. I especially love experiencing live music, interjecting obscure facts into everyday conversations and saying "cheers!" in pubic settings. Hit me up, y'all!
