About Barbara Tomasic

Barbara is an award-winning theatre director, producer, actor and educator and is represented by Da Costa Talent. Her background as an actor makes her passionately committed to finding the authentic story in a production, whether she is working on a dark suburban comedy or a large scale musical. Producing has made her an excellent director, as she is able to coordinate and organize all aspects of a production with ease and efficiency. She has been nominated for multiple Jessie Richardson Awards and won Ovation awards for both Acting and Directing. Other experience includes event management for Loungeworks, PRP and URP including work on the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, The Squamish Music Festival, the Pacific National Exhibition and the 2010 Olympics.
