Bringing a sound background in social work spanning 10+ years with reputable organisationsin Ireland such as (RehabCare, St. John of God’s - Carmona Services); a track record of building community support, key coalitions and strategic interagency partnerships. I am passionate about serving the needs of disadvantaged youth and adults. Over this period, I have successfully amassed a wealth of experience in program and organisational planning, with an underpinning of designing high-quality, economical and all-inclusive service offerings even in the face of limited resources. Furthermore, I have established a solid grounding as a formidable educator holding amaster’s in Pedagogy with a specialization in Education, Care & Therapy bolstered by over12 years of experience in first-grade special education as well as adults with extra support needs.Over my more than a decade long dual career, I have delivered outstanding service, bestdemonstrated by the following accomplishments: As a Programmes Supervisor, I leveraged outstanding case management (caseload ofup to 82 service users), thereby earning repeated promotions throughout my tenure. Serving as Team Leader, I successfully spearheaded the development, rollout andreview of appropriate case plans meeting individual client needs in close collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. Acting as a Community Support Worker, I instituted a solid partnership with local StVincent de Paul charity shop to set rolling mitigating interventions for the identifiedneeds of the service with an intention to offer great opportunities for supportbenefactors, thereby increasing their sense of independence and self-worth. During my tenure as the Day Centres Facilities Instructor, I successfully initiated,implemented and reviewed age-appropriate and person-centred programmes to suitthe individual needs of each service user both in the community and centre based.My mastery of providing learners with indispensable instructions on life skills; supportinglanguage development; management of behavioural concerns; and creating daily learning,physical fitness and social skills curricula to boost each learner’s confidence andperformance is unique.
