About Barbora Jevicka

I am a Senior Software Engineer at onsemi, where I develop and support internally used tools that optimize workflows across the company. My role involves working with a diverse tech stack, including Perl, PHP, JavaScript, Python, HTML, and CSS. Additionally, I am expanding my expertise in web development with Symfony and Docker. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science and Control from Brno University of Technology. My background has given me hands-on experience with MATLAB, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, and 3D printing. I also have experience working with STM32 microcontrollers, programming them in C/C++. Before transitioning to software engineering, I worked at Cromtryck s.r.o, where I was responsible for measurement system development, production documentation, and working with the POHODA accounting system. This role required technical problem-solving, attention to detail, and international collaboration. I prefer an international environment where I can apply my language skills—I am fluent in English (FCE certificate), proficient in French (DELF A1, A2), and have a basic knowledge of German. I am always eager to learn new technologies, improve my skills, and grow both professionally and personally. I’m open to new connections, collaborations, and opportunities in software development and mechanical engineering.
