About Barbra Wray

As the Director of Imaging Services at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC), I lead a team of over 30 radiology professionals who provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients and physicians. I hold the credentials of Radiologic Technologist R(CT)(MR)(ARRT) and License Radiologic Technologist (LRT) issued by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. With over 20 years of progressive radiology leadership experience, I have successfully coordinated and maintained efficient and effective department operations, while ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation standards. I am proud to have led the Imaging Services in obtaining the prestigious Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) certification by the American College of Radiology (ACR) at a Level Trauma and Stroke center, and to have received recognition during HRMC's most recent Joint Commission visit, leading to reaccreditation. I have also implemented process improvement initiatives, such as a rotating staffing nightshift schedule and a quality manual, that have increased patient satisfaction, reduced accounts receivable, and enhanced staff training and development. My mission is to deliver excellence in imaging services and patient care, while supporting the vision and values of HRMC.
