About Bareld Bruining

During my 30+ years of experience in the Process Industry and Training & Education I was/am in a unique position to develop world-class training facilities and training content that make a difference. After working for ExxonMobil for 10 years as an Analyzer specialist, I joined one of the biggest education organizations in the Netherlands. Besides teaching Measurement & Control, Process technology, Physics and Chemistry I have been involved with the developed of a Training Plant. This project comprised of process units including state-of-the-art technologies (HART and Foundation Fieldbus technology). I joined the Foundation Fieldbus organization as a training liaison to promote the technology, deliver training and deliver presentations during General Assemblies and road shows. After finalizing the Training Plant project, I started my own business which includes:> Building Training Facilities A project to be proud of includes a world-class hands-on training center (2500 m2) in the Middle East. The project includes 5 Process units and a Tank farm, Central Control Room, Electrical Workshop, Instrumentation & Control Workshop and Mechanical Workshop including associated training content and an extensive Train-the-trainer program.> Developing first class training content for process industry companies. A unique project worth mentioning is the Global Manufacturing Training (GMT) training program for ExxonMobil (world-wide). Main responsibilities included: o Determine roles and responsibilities for technical crafts. o Develop training curricula. o Develop (on-line) Technical training content. o Execute Train-the-Trainer programs o Organize and deliver a 1 year training program using GMT content for Electrical & Instrumentation technicians > Organizing (international) hands-on training programs o Instrumentation & Control training for professionals (1-2 years program) o HART and Foundation Fieldbus (short courses) o On-line analyzer training (1 – 2 years program) o Custody Transfer program (e.g, 3-weeks hands-on program for Saudi Ministry of Petroleum) held in our facilities in Rotterdam.
