About Baris Kolay

I have started working in project management and site engineering. Leading the teams at various sites in Turkey. After that, I worked in Toyota as productio line manager, leading the teams in the production lines. I have taken a training in Japan for 3 months. After Toyota, I started working in Federal as Istanbul area sales engineer and experienced direct contact with customers. I switched to the other side of the table when I started working at Siemens as procurement manager. I still work at Siemens as senior project procurement and commodity manager. Through my work experience I have seen and experienced enginnering, production, sales and finally procurement. So this gives me an insight to combine all of these experience to achieve what is required and more. Combining undergraduate engineering studies with my work experience, I believe I would be able to approach to deals at hand from a well-rounded perspective and come up with creative and effective solutions. My open flexibility, energetic, persuasive personality allow me to adapt quickly to any given situation and take tasks with the enthusiasm they require.
