About Barry Davis

Barry Davis is a divorce mediator who specializes in helping clients work through their divorce in the most cost-effective, practical and confidential manner possible (and without going to court). He draws upon a diverse professional and educational background that includes fifteen years in the business world (including thirteen years with Fortune 500 companies) as well as two advanced degrees. Barry is known for his ability to work through highly-charged divorces in a calm, productive manner that allows both sides to air and address their issues in order to reach a constructive resolution. By utilizing a multi-faceted approach that includes identifying the parties' true issues and concerns, facilitating productive communication and educating the parties concerning possible outcomes, Barry has been able to achieve success in the vast majority of divorce mediations he facilitates. In private practice since 2003, Barry has also been a staff mediator with the Disability Mediation Center at Loyola Law School and serves on the Torrance Family Court and Second Appellate District mediation panels. He began his career in mediation by completing a Masters in Conflict Management at Fresno Pacific University after completing an earlier Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
