About Barry Grier

My passion is leading and transforming a team whilst building/growing a business. I have been recognised throughout my career as an inclusive and empathetic leader with a passion for people, customers and results. I have received consistently positive feedback on my judgement, integrity, passion and ability to build and shape a team from every level of the business.I am adaptable and flexible with the knowledge, experience and capability to change my approach to get the best out of my team in any given situation. My teams have repeatedly given feedback that how I adapt my leadership style to suit the situation makes me the most trustworthy and inspiring leader they have ever worked for.I am strategic in my approach but central to my leadership style is the capability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business. I am recognised by my peers for my ability to see the bigger picture, to distil that down into simple, concise and visual messages that clarify and inspire whilst enabling engagement and action. I can quickly inspire others to rally around a common purpose.During my career I have consistently been identified to take on larger and more complex opportunities and businesses. As a result of hard work, commercial acumen and an adaptable leadership style I have made significant differences in each role and I always leave a legacy of a team performing significantly better after my leadership than before it. I am a leader driven and motivated by the responsibility of the role rather than the rewards and ego boost that come with it.
