My Style I love collaborators. Work sucks if you don't enjoy the people you do it with. I'm "hands-off", but I have almost 30 years of mistakes I can help you avoid. I do not suffer pretense. I've been accused of using $5 words. which is weird considering the four-letter words that seem to go unnoticed. The best compliment I ever received was "his knowledge of marketing is scary". The worst "Don't worry, no one is going to zoom in to look at your face." How to Work With Me I don't react well when I discover you don't do what you say you will do. I have a "hold my beer" attitude about opportunity. But my background in marketing is rooted in economics, data and a thorough understanding of the environment. Sometimes this creates the false appearance of recklessness. But when my team and I trust each other, we have a lot of fun making things happen. Other Things to Know When I work I tend to be incredibly focused and pensive. I have a resting boss face. This sometimes makes people think I'm angry. The reality is I crave humor and am rarely angry. I take my work as seriously as the next, but my inner high school senior cannot be contained when a punchline presents itself.
