I have over 20 years of management experience, and over 100 hours of specialized training in leadership. The value placed into how people are treated (team members, subordinates, customers) will reflect a persons value in creating a successful workplace. The word “Boss” wasn’t invented to coexist within the same realm as a “Leader”. A Boss “owns”, a leader empowers others to “own” through proper training, respect and loyalty. Once people feel a sense of ownership, their pride and performance will reflect this personal attachment. In a world of “how/why did that happen?” the process of creating a corrective action to omit the potential of a reoccurrence is of vast importance. The key to a successful CAR is to identify the “root cause”. Root Cause analysis is often related to the ability to shift paradigms. Analysis, in general, is my most valued strength. Problem solving is instinctive and instruction is a passion. In addition to Root Cause analysis, Process Analysis and research being areas of expertise.they are personal hobbies as well. A leaders success isn’t merely measured by numbers and data.it is ultimately defined by the success of those that rely on that person for support, trust and mentoring. •An unprepared manager may fear failure. A great leader/manager will foresee the possibility of issues, prepare his staff for such occurrences and when and if failure does occur.will have confidence in their skills to remedy any situation that may occur. This is a result of experience, practicing good leadership etiquette and knowing that any issue is ultimately their responsibility to carry and ultimately correct.
