I began my career in the steel industry in 1988. I spent 23 years with Coilplus in Athens Alabama beginning as a production operator before moving into a leadership role as a production supervisor. From there, I transitioned into a sales role as a sales coordinator, specializing in automotive steel, with emphasis on Japanese and German auto markets. After many enjoyable years at Coilplus, I accepted a new challenge at Nucor Steel Decatur.
