Partnering with other T&O leaders to provide strategic direction for technology decisions relating to; Unified Communications, Productivity and Collaboration Engineering. Aligning to technology architecture decisions and collaborate with global teams to engineer technologies. Research, identify and make recommendations on exploitation of new feature/function of technologies to ensure proper use of technology while adhering to RBC’s long-term architectural direction. Research and identify new technology candidates to enhance the existing software portfolio or to replace existing solutions where it makes sense from both a technical and cost perspective. Recommend strategies to drive down cost and improve efficiencies with supported vendor software and RBC written code to ensure optimal use of available resources.
