About Barry Levy

As Pension Consultant and President of Levy & Associates, I utilize a multitude of professional experiences to offer high-level service and expertise to our clients. I have been recognized in federal and state court as an expert in the area of qualified retirement plans and as a result, I have been a guest on financial talk radio and a featured speaker on qualified retirement plans. In 1989, I joined Levy & Associates’ predecessor organization, Leo Levy & Associates. I became an officer and member of ASPPA’s (American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries) Executive Committee in 2008, after serving on their Board of Directors for 5 years. Amongst a number of committees, I served on the Management Council and the Government Affairs Steering Committee (GAC). In ASPPA’s 2012-2013 year, I served as President where I periodically met with IRS and DOL officials and members of Congress and their staff. I am currently ASPAA’s Immediate Past President and I remain on the Executive Committee. Locally, I am a past President of the ASPAA Benefits Council of South Florida (ABC South Florida). I’m also a proud graduate of the University of Maryland.
