About Barry Logan

I am a seasoned forensic science professional with a track record in academia, state and local government, law enforcement, the private sector, and now also lead NMS Labs research and education non-profit arm - the Center for Forensic Science Research and Education (CFSRE). In my role as as Senior Vice President of Forensic Science, and Chief Scientist at NMS Labs, the leading independent forensic science provider for North America and Internationally, I provide technical and business oversight in the provision of toxicology, and drug chemistry services to the entire Criminal Justice community including the prosecution and defense, law enforcement, government laboratories, physicians and health care clients. I spend a significant amount of my time in teaching forensic science at the graduate level and my passion is developing and mentoring the forensic scientists of tomorrow. I served as President of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences 2013-2014, and now serve as a Director of Toxicology UK Ltd, a UK based forensic Toxicology Services provider.
