About Barry Lough

I am currently working part time (20 hours a week) performing therapeutic massage for repeat and new clientel. I specialize in deep muscle, trigger point, reflexology, sports massage and cranial sacral. I am taking continuing ed courses to expand my skills. I also work approximately 10 hours a week in a Chiropractic office doing soft tissue work. Prior to acquiring my license in massage I was a teacher for 20 years. I was certified for elementary education but also have extensive experience (via charter schools) working with junior high and high school students as well. Also have 1 quarter experience teaching at a junior college. I am not planning to keep my teaching certificate active once it expires but I acquired a myriad of skills as a teacher that serve me well in other settings. Ideally I would like to work in a comprehensive health facility with other professionals in the health & wellness field such as accupuncturists, dieticians, chiropractors, physical therapists.
