I am a business development/sales person also experienced in managing teams. I have many years of experience within sales, account management, operations management and customer service roles. I have well developed negotiating skills with the ability to empathise with and influence people. I have experience in dealing and communicating with individuals at all levels ranging from company directors to students and with businesses and domestic customers. I enjoy working with them all to agree their requirements and develop effective solutions. In my current role I operate remotely and I am responsible for the profitability of the State by monitoring all areas of the business in SA including Sales, Pricing, Staff, Transport and Operation Costs and Competition activity. I account manage all of the electrical wholesalers in South Australia, providing service, quotations and advice on all products and managing the whole sales process from initial customer contact and quotations to final delivery and after sales service. As well as this, I have many operational responsibilities including; Managing stock levels and investigating and solving local stock issues. Monitoring ongoing transport costs and ensuring the most efficient options are used, negotiating with new and existing couriers where required. Checking and signing off on daily transport charges/invoices. Order monitoring and managing along with investigating and solving order and delivery discrepancies. Managing the order process from receipt to delivery to ensure orders are completed and delivered when required. Monitor, manage and report an overall state profitability including all staff/site costs, manufacturing costs and freight. Indirect management of the SA distribution team, including yard maintenance, organisation and OHS issues. Most importantly I have a genuine passion for high standards and exceptional customer service.
