About Barry Rivers

Thought out my career I have sought out roles, that are challenging. Many of the roles had little structure as they were new organizations or products. Commonality is a strong group of teammates, and a detailed set of goals and outcomes. Every year, I set goals for internal/external learning to improve skills, in process, leadership, and technology. My career has always been in fast-paced business areas (e.g. New Account/Acq, Customer Service, Credit, Fraud/Risk, Remittance, and Learning Network) with constantly changing tools and business direction. I have been successful by having good mentor(s), getting to root-cause quickly, empowering the team, and turning obstacles into a set of solutions. As such, I bring the quality of being very comfortable when solutions are not readily apparent and nebulous where customer needs and technical tools are evolving.
