About Barry Tackett

As anyone who knows me will tell you, I am NOT a Social Media kind of person. I much prefer personal contact with people. As such I have not edited this page for over 4 years. I have worked with the AutoCad design application since release 2.5. and excel in 2-D drawing. I am actively taking on the task of learning the 3-D mindset and have used the Solid Edge, Inventor and UGNX applications toward this goal. While not an expert by any means I have gained familiarity with the Inventor series of software through then 2018 release in a "Production" environment. The "Six Sigma"​ and "Kaizan" concepts are not unlike the mindset that I am familiar with as an ISO Internal Auditor. I am familiar with Configuration Management, and BOM control. I have created and documented ISO compliant Engineering Change systems. In 2015, at the age of 50, I finally received my degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, with a Design specialty. And I have gone on to learn Welding Connection design from Lincoln Electric.
