About Barry White

As a passionate, loyal and driven professional I develop strategies that seek to enhance environmental sustainability, governance and industry competitiveness. I leverage my outstanding training in science, my keen sense of commercial awareness and business essentials, and my passion for strategic planning to create new visions of the future. For example, I am well recognized for being an early adopter of lidar technologies and for recognizing its outstanding potential to totally transform the forest sector including that of its governance. What sets me apart from many are my soft skills. Throughout my life, I have always been recognized for my kind and empathetic leadership style. Indeed, I learned early in my career that this form of leadership fosters the development of inclusive and psychologically safe work environments that, in turn, drive staff performance. In my next role, I am eager to apply new operations and strategic planning skills I recently learned from the prestigious Sauder School of Business. I hope to also have the opportunity to leverage my absolute passion for science and innovation to ensure the creation of tactical solutions that drive organizational growth.
