About Barsha Patra

I graduated with a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Analytics and Marketing from Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) in May 2023, where I learned how to apply data-driven insights and strategies to various business domains and challenges. I also have a background in media science, which I studied at Techno India Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020. Since August 2023, I have been working as a Business Development Executive at GATI-KWE, one of India's leading logistics and supply chain solutions providers. In this role, I use my oral communication and negotiation skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain client relationships, and generate revenue growth. I have successfully secured multiple contracts with key customers in various sectors, such as e-commerce, healthcare, and manufacturing, and helped them optimize their logistics operations using edge computing solutions. Edge computing is a domain expertise that I have acquired through a verified certificate from edX, and that I apply to create value for both the clients and the company. I have also contributed to the development and implementation of the company's business strategy and marketing plan, and supported the sales and operations teams with data analysis and reporting. I am passionate about enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the logistics industry, and creating positive impact on the society and the environment. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with diverse and talented teams. My goal is to become a leader and an innovator in the field of business development and edge computing.
