About Bart Berlee

Hoe kan je vanuit het perspectief van natuur onze leefomgeving inrichten? Mijn werk op het gebied van natuurinclusief en circulair bouwen, staat in het teken van deze vraag. Mijn achtergrond in ecologie en engineering sterkt me in het praktisch beantwoorden ervan. Op dit moment werk ik in mijn functie als adviseur duurzaamheid analytisch en passievol aan het versterken van natuur binnen bouwprojecten. Het liefste doe ik dat heel zichtbaar, door bijv. praktisch te adviseren bij het ontwerpen van een woonwijk die veel soorten kan herbergen. Maar ook het creatief en analytisch nadenken over circulair en biobased ontwerp zorgt dat ik vol enthousiasme de samenwerking opzoek en m’n werk doe! Ik sta altijd open voor het bijdragen op het gebied van i) natuurinclusief, ii) klimaat adaptief, of circulair ontwikkelen. Als jij dat ook doet, neem dan vooral contact op! English: How can we design living space from the perspective of nature? In my field I focus on a circular, as well as a building-for-nature approach in construction/development to answer this question. My background in ecology and engineering provides the tools to answering it practically. At the moment, i'm employd as sustainability consultant. I work analytically and passionately on strengthening the position of nature within construction and rural development projects. I prefer to do this very visibly, for example by giving practical advice when designing a residential area that can accommodate many species. But I also endeavor in a more creative and analytical process, designing for circular and biobased design. Thinking about these very interesting topics, makes that I love my job and enthusiastically look for collaboration with others.
