About Bart Gilmer

I love connecting my community with our healthy nutritious fruits and veggies as well as educating the public on farming and the farm life. I hope to have a positive impact on my community by making it a healthier one and by providing it with a safe and fun family venue where memories can be made. I was one of the fortunate few that was born and raised on a farm and didn't know how much I loved it until I left for college. After being off the farm for a couple of years it became clear to me that the farm is where I am supposed to be. So I came home and haven't looked back since! I love sharing our farm with those that didn't get to have the same fun experiences that I had growing up here and educating them on the importance of farming and being careful stewards of the land is very important to me. Having such a diverse farm requires that I wear many hats! I get to be a farmer, mechanic, plumber, marketing director, salesman, event host, social media director, accountant, along with many other things, sometimes all in the same day! This is one of the favorite things about my job because I rarely have 2 days that are the same. This keeps me on my toes and I never get bored! I am blessed with an amazing wife and two loving daughters that all embrace the farm life. Having a family farming business is great because I get to work right alongside my wife, parents, and children. I am an avid football fan and enjoy woodworking in my free time.
