I am a practical and highly efficient senior Operations Manager with a track record of professional achievements and significant management experience in the Logistics and Service sector. In this field, excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation proficiencies are of the essence. By utilising these skills in my career, I have successfully developed the capacity to influence decisions and to develop positive relationships with customers in Government and Industry, as well as suppliers, staff and management. I excel at planning and strategy, service delivery, monitoring efficiencies, cost savings and improvement initiatives aimed positive change. My areas of expertise include talent development, training and coaching managers, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled staff in a multi-cultural environment. I also play a pivotal role in Human Resources and Industrial Relations in the workplace and I have the background and training to manage safety, health and the environment and ensure statutory compliance. With a high level of integrity, I endeavour to lead by example and in dealing with people I allow for growth through trial and error – provided it is well motivated and quantified. While I am currently involved in entrepreneurial ventures of my own, I am keen to return to the Logistics and Service industry and work for an organisation that will allow me to initiate positive change and add value to the company – one that will recognise and reward value and performance and make best use of the extensive skills and experience I bring to the table. With my inherent logical and analytical abilities and a passion for business process and optimisation, I am particularly eager to complete LEAN and SIX SIGMA training.
