Based in Amsterdam with a passion for creating technology that genuinely improves people's lives. I started out as an iOS developer back when the iPhone 3G was first released, and since then, I've been focused on building software that people truly enjoy using. These days, I'm a full-stack developer at Caro Health, where my job is about so much more than just writing code—it's about creating meaningful experiences. At Caro Health, we’re on a mission to build a platform that really helps people. Using technologies like AWS, MongoDB, Angular, and Capacitor, we ensure our platform runs smoothly for both patients and healthcare professionals across iOS, Android, and the web. Our goal is straightforward: to support and guide patients while providing healthcare professionals with the insights they need to focus on delivering quality care. We’re also embracing AI, but always with a human touch—making sure it’s ethical, practical, and solves real-world problems. I'm working closely with our team to turn great ideas into features that really matter. I keep us connected to our users, making sure their feedback leads to real, meaningful improvements. Also I love to mentor our developers, helping them grow and do their best work. On top of that, I’m part of our ISMS team, making sure we meet key standards like NEN7510:2018 and ISO27001:2022. What drives me every day is the idea that technology can make healthcare better—for patients, by giving them the support they need, and for healthcare professionals, by streamlining their workflows so they can spend more time on what truly matters: caring for people.
