Bart is a Member of Board of Directors of Netcompany which is a Danish stock quoted company employing 7400 staff in 17 countries with 5.5 Bio DKK revenue and 1.1 Bn DKK EBITDA. Netcompany is a pure-play IT services company delivering business-critical strategic IT projects that accelerate customers’ digital transformation through digital platforms, core systems and infrastructure services. More on: In his executive career he worked internationally at KPMG EMEA as Head Government & Public sector covering Europe, Middle East, India and South Africa where he coordinated the mobilisation in this region for the growth strategy, go to market and delivery of all KPMG services in Public Sector such as Consulting, IT services, Audit, Legal and Tax services. He combined this mandate with the role of Global Lead Partner for the Account of European Institutions and chairman of the EU General Advisory Board. Before his international career in KPMG he founded and has lead the Consulting in Belgium focussing on business strategy, performance improvement, digital transformation, financial and risk management. He has performed these projects for stock quoted companies, private companies, public sector and European institutions. Non-executive experience he acquired outside KPMG as well as board member and/or associate in public sector, not-for-profit, FinTech and family-owned business. He has co-founded companies in Consulting, Retail, Real Estate and Fintech and for the latter he acquired a fit and proper Board member certificate of the financial services regulator. He supports entrepreneurs as business angel and/or coach. He acts as a speaker or lectures for entrepreneurs, start-ups & scale ups and students on topics such as strategic business planning, company financing, crowdfunding, financial planning, cost management, entrepreneurship, corporate venturing, Covid recovery and other.
